There is not a one factor which causes cancer. When the cells in the body start dividing continuously and effect the other close tissue in the body and through blood circulation cancer spreads throughout the body or by the clear fluid whuich travels through the lymphatic system and carries cells which are helpful to infections and other diseases.
The type of cancers is more than 100 but we can divide it into the following main categories:
Sarcoma: This type of cancer can happen in bone, cartilage, fat, muscle, blood vessels, or other connective tissue.
Carcinoma: Carcinoma is one of cancer of skin or in tissues that line or cover the internal organs
Lymphoma and myeloma: Lymphoma and myeloma are cancers that begin in the cells which makes up the immune system.
Leukemia Leukemia is a cancer which begins in blood forming tissue such as the bone marrow and causes large numbers of abnormal blood cells to be produced that then enter the bloodstream.
Our body is made up of many different types of cells. Usually these cells grow and divide according to the requirement of the body. The dead cells of the body are replaced by the new cells but when this process goes wrong the cells starts dividing in large number and the body does not need them and these extra and mutated cells then form a mass of tissue which is called tumor. All tumors are not cancerous but cancerous tumors are called malignant tumors.
